The final Road course of 2018 at Road America is now concluded.  The 2 day event started off with many arriving on Saturday with some going to the races and others in time to go out to dinner. The next morning was early with folks having breakfast about 6;30 a.m.and heading to the track at 7:00 a.m. to get registered. Over the next hour unloading the trailers checking over Vipers to make sure they are ready for the  track and getting to the drivers meeting at 8:00 a.m. There were over 100 drivers total including 25 Viper drivers from our club. After the 30 minute meeting folks were back to the cars and the track going hot by 9:00.

 We had 3 run groups, Advanced, Intermediate and Rookie with each having  five 30 minute sessions on Sunday with a similar plan for Monday except the weather causing a bit of an issue  A great day on Sunday with everyone getting in plenty of track time. I did hear a bit of traffic issues on the track but all in all a great time was had by all. After the day was done some folks only came for the one day and they headed back home trying to beat the rain that was coming our way and then we had about 20 folks go out to dinner at PJ's at the Depot in Plymouth Wisconsin.  After a great meal and some wonderful conversation we retired back to the hotel to hit the sack and get ready to do it again on Monday.
