Madison speedway is a new venue for our autocrosses and what a hit it was. Folks started arriving  about 7:30 to unload trailers and get signed in. We had 18 drivers with about 30 people there. You guys that were unable to make this one be sure and come to the one in two weeks at this location you will be glad you did. The track went hot about 9:00 with 4 run groups and 6 runs. We were able to incorporate the banks from the track with slaloms, a box. One of the slolums was a favorite to compete for cone killer king. There was 1 cone that you would swear that almost every Viper was introduced to. There might of been one or two cones that jumped underneath the car and road with around the rest of the track.

We had another run of 6 before stopping for lunch. The times were very competitive at around 40 seconds. After lunch we had 8 more runs concluding about 3;00 and awarding trophies. There were several members that had rather high numbers of cone incidents with at least three or four of us hitting double digit cones. The highest number might of been by our president with 44 cones. Everyone had a great time and are looking to coming back on the 29th.
